Riolan a great canyoning classic on the Cote d’Azur
With its outstanding size, Riolan is a reference on the French Riviera. This canyon in the mountain near the Cote d’azur is 1h15 / 1h30 drive from Nice or Cannes.
A real canyoning adventure in a very aquatic and mineral atmosphere !
Waters of Riolan sculpted a majestic landscape characterized by very narrow and sometimes subterranean passages surrounded by high cliffs often more than 300 meters high… It is a very complete course with rappeling , slides, 10 meters jumps and a long aquatic part where it will be necessary to swim.
Accessible even to beginners because there is no big difficulty, it is however necessary to be sporty and comfortable in the water.

Transport
The meeting point is in front of the pub (bar-tabac) of the village of ROQUESTERON.
From Nice take the Var valleyD6202 towards Digne-les-bains.
At Charles Albert’s bridge cross Var river to the D17 towards Gillette.
Cross Gillette and continue to Roquesteron.
Transport in air-conditioned minibus :
- For group of 8 persons maximum
- Ex: Canyon de Barbaira, Gorges du loup, Via ferrata
